Spallone & Son Tailoring was founded in 1965 by Umberto Spallone, who had just emigrated from Italy. In 1979, Umberto established Spallone & Son Menswear and Tailoring, added on to his tailoring shop, and began selling dress clothing for men.
In 1985, we added sportswear and casual clothing lines to the store. In 1988, a two floor business was created, adding more clothing lines and styles. In 1995, we added men’s shoes to the store, which now included all types of men’s clothing and accessories.
In 2005, we reached yet another milestone when we began to sell the popular brand, Tommy Bahama. In 2011, we began to sell women’s jewelry and in August of 2012, Spallone & Son Menswear and Tailoring added another addition: women’s boutique clothing. This small portion of the store, named “Rose’s Corner” sells both dress and casual clothing for women.
